C6-01 not able to play mp4 as well as 3gp videos

I have c6-01 with me .Recently i downloaded few videos of mp4 n 3gp formats bt unable to play after downloading. Also as per suggestions i tried to install Nokia-video-converter but failed to install as getting error Unable to open ,File type not supported. Whenever i downloads any video n want to watch, having the same error...What shud i do. In specifications it has already given that c6-01 will support any video of mp4 n 3gp format.Then what  is the problem.. Pls REplay    Is there any problem in C6-01?  It is luking to be totally useless for me in current situation.. Hope wl get replay soon....

hey friend if you use window 7 os in your computer then you can keep your mobile in media transfer mode in usb setting then connect your mobile to computer vai usb then while you put any video on mobile then computer will asked you to convert that video copy to  your mobile then click on ok.After it will finish you can watch the videos.
