while recording video on my 5230 the sound records fine without a break, but the video freezes for about ten seconds, and so does the time counter. then it goes normal for a few seconds, the timer jumps forward and then it freezes again and so on.

on playback the video has the same freezes in but as i said, the sound is fine.

aha, might have figured it out with some experimentation (that i shouldve done first, durr...)

ok, video recording onto the memory card does the problem above. recording into phone internal memory is fine, photos store onto the memory card fine.
so could my 2Gb micro card be too slow to record the video properly? or have broken? its a sandisk so i thought they were ok?
the rubbish little 256Mb card ive got also works fine, so i think the 2Gb is screwed.
does that sound feasable before i spend out on a new card?
