that link seems only working for 5800.

I've try to send the application link to my N97, but it say "Soory, this items is no longer available".  However, no issue found if I do the same to my 5800.

Hi, I think one possible way to retrieve the Facebook in your device is to restore the factory setting by pressing *#7370#. Maybe you may consider to try that, but before restoring your factory setting please ensure that you have backed up all your files.

I found this Facebook app for N97 from a forum. You can give it a shot if it works for you. It also works with 5800 XM.

First install this: (5800 Facebook with the widget+API Bridge). Only API Bridge is needed.

After that, replace the 5800 Facebook with N97 Facebook.

I uninstalled the original facebook app and installed the one from ovi, and now i have problems with it. The one on ove is an older build than the one that was on the handset originally. Is there anywhere i can get the original version 1.00(5) as opposed to this one that is version 1.00(3808)

Had the same problem... luckily found this link:

After instalation, it restores everything (facebook app. and link) back to normal

Anyway, hope it's useful

-I'm still having a problem loading my 'Profile' Facebook page, though... -Even when trying to load the full site, it loads everything else just fine, except for the Profile page...

Anyone any ideas?...

Hi,

I am having problems with facebook on my N97.

Everytime i login and go to my Wall Posts it always says i have no new posts. But when i login into Facebook via the internet and i go to my wall i can see i have new posts and see everything.

Does anyone know why i cannot see this my new post on my N97?

Can anyone help please???

If you already have facebook installed on your N97, you will need to remove this in order to be granted permission to redownload it. If the "Download" button is still greyed out when you access the widget in Ovi Store, check in your Application Manager, and uninstall "Facebook Installer". You should then be able to go on, and download, and install this new version of the facebook widget.

I have looked in my installed apps folder there is no ref to fscebook I have done a factory reset and reinstalled my firmware I still get a greyed out DL button under ovi store ? why can they not just let us dl the sis files so we can install the software again???
