anyone can help me with this problem?i want to use my mobile camera nokia 6500 slide as webcam on pc.is it any software available for this application. i'm already know about mobiola and wwigo but i can't use them because my phone does not support sis file and my laptop actually does't have bluetooth.plz help me immediately

As far as I know there's nothing like that for a java-based phone such as the 6500s.

Nokia 6500 and many other Nokia models use the Series 40
software platform. According to
http://www.forum.nokia.com/Resources_and_Information/Explore/Software_Platforms/Series_40/
it is "the world's most widely used mobile device platform".

Many of the phones have a camera and they are even able to
do video calling (video telephony), e.g. Nokia 3120 classic,
as they have a front camera also.

I'm sure many users of such phones (including me) would like
to have an application that would turn the phone into a
webcam device for a PC.

Dear Miss, it appiers you have so many deficultys and the best way is just go and buy a web cam and connect it to your USB and use it ,you can find it on line under $10.00 USD ,apps will cost you more and they dont work , for mor info try the nokia.com

a phone camera usually has better resolution than a $10 webcam (which you can also carry with you when you are mobile).
The Nokia PC Suite has drivers that enables using a Nokia phone with a Series 40 software for Internet connection.
It would be nice that the PC Suite also has a driver for using the phone camera as a webcam.

@missena06 I haven't tried this application myself, but it should work on the Slide. It's called SmartCam and works on Java enabled mobiles. It's free from Phoload. Might be worth a try.
