What do I need to know to make an application for the Nokia 5800?

I'm gonna be done with my exams on the 11th and I want to, as a summer project, make an application for the nokia 5800 - I wanted to know where to start and what to learn? I mite put whatever I make on the OVI store or something - it'd be cool if i can make a game like pocket tanks or iShoot if anyone has played those.

You start on Nokia'¨s application developer web site: http://forum.nokia.com

 

For the 5800 you can use Symbian C++, Java (J2ME), Python for S60, Flash Lite or HTML/CSS/JavaScript via the web-runtime (WRT) to make applications.


The tools (software development kits), documentation, wiki, knowledge base, developer discussion boards, etc., you will all find on Forum Nokia.

When deciding which environment to use, just bear in mind that, for the moment, the OVI store doesn't accept applications written in Python for S60.
