hi i am using nokia 5610, when i am updating my device software, it gets updated but still i couldn't find any new pre-installed applications.. the new version has the same features and apperance of what is in the old so what is the need of updating?...

Software updates are in fact firmware updates to improve device functionallity. Bugs are removed for stability. Sometimes there are applications added, but not always.
