I understands the following:
1- there is no charge in the future for using NOKIA messaging that i need to pay to nokia it self
2- and any charges will be added will be between me and my operator (service provider)
3- On this bases, if I'm connected to the internet through WiFi as example at home there will be no charges at all.
I don't know if what i understand is right or not
Please if any one know the exact policy of using NOKIA messaging after the trial period send it to me
Best Regards,
Eng. Khaled Reda

And how long does this trial basis last for? I set up this application last night and received an email stating that this was on a trial basis and that they will notify me when my subscription is over. I was trying to look for this information but have not been able to find anything out. I even called Nokia Care Support and they were not able to answer the question for me; the representative stated that they have not gotten any information on this and that the Nokia Messaging Team will notify me when they decide to charge (if they decide to charge).

It's free forever, as far as I remember from my research. I've been using it for a couple months now and haven't ever had a problem.

It's not free for ever. Mine expired one month after purchase date. I have been unable to reactivate it. Nokia help desk tells it's my provider's issue in Venezuela and my provider here says to contact Nokia. Nokia makes good phone but their service is just bad. When Nokia Messaginng was deactivated on my phone, two messages remained active on the phone's main menu. After two weeks they did not disappear I contacted Nokia help desk. They were kind but totally useless. They told me to remove Nokia Messaging application from my phone. The messages disappeared but I do not have Nokia Messaging any longer on my phone. Nokia unclear policies makes me think about Nokia's unclear future in this market.

Tommluc, maybe you just have an old version installed. Get the latest one from messaging.nokia.com or on the Ovi store.
