I'm thinking about buying a N97 but before I do I would like to know whether there is an app that allowing it to sync the MS Outlook email from my PC. I spent the last day going round in circles but can't find anyone that can give me a definitive answer. I know Nokia PC Suite can't but I'm not sure about the OVI PC Suite. Can alnyone out there please please help.
Many thanks

Doubt it, based on the OS.
To date, the Nseries phones (and most other Nokia phones) have not featured the ability to sync emails with your PC. the only phones that were able to do so were the old communicator phones (NOT Eseries): e.g. 9500 Communicator, 9300 Communicator, etc.
The only way to synchronise your emails with Outlook is if you have an Exchange server / your email account stores all its mails on a remote server (so that both your outlook and phone access the same emails).
"Try not. Do or do not, there is no try."
If you found someone's comments helpful or like what that person has to say, please give some Kudos to the post! ![]()

Thanks for your quick reply. Yes I can see how using an exchange server can work for 'when out on the road', but I just really only want to sync via a bluetooth connection using maybe Nokia PC Suite in the same way as I sync my outllook contact and notes etc...
The only reason I think, and I must point out only think!!, is that according to the Nokia Suite help it can be done IF you have a phone model capable. So basically my question is, is the N97 capable of copying my indox, sent box and saved subfolders.
Once again, many thanks

If what u want is to have ur folders available for sync, have u considered Nokia Messaging? It'll give u access to all folders in ur email.

Just thought I'd add to my previous post. All I really want to do is to be able to transfer my email folders (indox, sent items, saved items etc) to and from my mobile so as I can refer to previous saved emails whilst I am out (away from my PC).
Many thanks
