Does anyone know if you can get Bug village on symbian platform for the N8????

It's not available for symbian, you could try asking the publisher if they have any plans to release a symbian version in the future:

What about some of these sites that claim you can download it on any platform. I know its on windows phones, had it on a Lumia 800 I just trialled, its addictive

Those sites are wrong. There isn't currently a symbian version of this game in existence.

All you can do is wait and hope or ask the company that publishes the game.
