Before i updated to Belle, there was no issue with the battery monitor. But after i updated and then installed Battery Monitor, it is kind of stuck on the loading screen for a long long time. it just keeps loading and loading. Dunno what is going on. Pls help.

Well Nokia Battery Monitor is probably one of the applications that stop working after updating to Nokia Belle. So the solution here is to remove Battery Monitor from your phone.

Try re installing it. BM2 should work with Belle, it's working on my N8 with Belle.

Un install it completely, then re install. I'd boot the phone before re installing.....

I'm having problems with battery monitor 2.2 on belle too. it's a bit intermittent. sometimes it works perfectly. sometimes it just stays in the same position for hours.

It has been at 100% since this morning. I wish! =)

looking in the reviews in the Nokia store it seems a lot of people are reporting the same problem.

Same problem on my N8, battery monitor displays quite different battery state then the battery info app I also have on, worked fine before Belle.

Hopefully they update the Battery Monitor for Nokia Belle, they did for Symbian Anna and that worked quite well and accurately, but now these days it's completely all over the place, as everyone else here has posted. Can't even check the percentage status of the battery like you were able to on Anna and before, by tapping on the battery icon at the top of the screen.

Download the Installation file and just save it. If you think it's acting up, just re install it. Sadly this is the only solution I can think of, works for me though.

I got the same problem.

the meter is stuck at a specific % level and won't budge even after power cycling.

Hope they update the application soon (if at all) but i wouldn't bet on it.

I had it too after the Belle upgrade - Battery monitor stuck to 100% all the time.

Then I kept it running (hide button) until the battery run out. After charging the phone again, it seems to be working ok now.

So give it a try - maybe just a calibration issue.

I don't have any issues running battery monitor 2.2. Try a fresh installation. Restore factory settings and then install. If battery monitor is erratic, try ion battery timer. It just tells you the remaining juice in your battery in terms of time remaining till complete discharge.

Okay. I have a problem also with Battery Monitor 2.2 and Belle.

But I think I know the reason.

I did a hard reset after installing Belle. Re-installed Battery Monitor. It still isn't working right.

The widget does not update. Unless I turn my phone off then on again. It is correct after that.

It looks like the off/on launches Battery Monitor in the background. Widget then updates.

But during use, the program seems to close. The widget does not update. Launch the program and then "hide" it and the widget works again.

So all would be okay if the program did not stop itself sometimes ....

Reading other posts where people have uninstalled the Battery app. I gave it a try and using the Energy Profiler App - I can see a big drop in power consumption with the Battery App uninstalled.

I have added the Free Advanced Battery mgr app to see what that's like.

FIXED. It looks like the problem is the Nokia Battery App 2.2 running on my E7 Belle.

From full charge overnight I have WLAN, BT running with dual band Radio. I've done normal amount of calling plus had the Reader and Skype running and did some FB time and the battery is at 70% and its 4pm.

Suggest anyone having battery problems gets the Nokia Energy Profiler App - it shows exactly what is happening and you can use it to find the offending Applications.

BTW - my current drain looks to be about 116mA steady state under the conditions described - this should easily get me through to the next overnight charge.

Try BATTERY INFO app instead of battery monitor... It also has widget support. Shows the battery capacity in mAh and percentage and unplugged time in the widget.

I was having the same problem on my C7.

If you go to the Nokia Store online there is now a Nokia Battery Monitor 3.

You will have to uninstall version 2.2 .

The change log says that you can compare your stats with friends via Facebook. Nothing mentioned about other fixes for belle.
