Today when i was going to download some podcasts like i always do everyday, i press on the nokias podcasting app and nothing happens.
I have tried to switch off, i have tried it the offline profile and online profile. I have tried with wifi connect and wifi not connected. I have tried to go to it through the music app and nothing happens.
What happen? The only thing I can remember since yesterday is that i changed the sim card and been using my data connection but not for download podcasts. But i have tried alreadythe offline profile.
I've got the new version, 21.0.025. I will try to change sim cards again and see if this helps but this is very weird.
Has anyone seen this happen?

I have not changed my access point in fact just to make sure I restored default of Connection. I have tried this with few Podcasts. By the way, I have plenty of space in my flash.

I have the same problem. i cannot even open the podcating app because it crashes. I also cannot use the web browser. This is the second time that it has happened to me with the firmware v21.
The only fix I have found so far is doing a hard reset.
Nokia - Please help us!

Same problem here... and without any solution ![]()
I try all I remember, I take the battery off, change the card (because the phone does not work well also in mass storage mode...), try install Podcast single application... i´m tired!
It´s a firmware problem, and only Nokia can handle that![]()

No! As far as I saw, and it´s also my case, it´s last firmware version inside, Euro 1 region.
And, we can´t do reset´s all the time![]()
I go try to mantain the phone as it is, until next firmware version or correction patch. Until then, N82, the most solid of last Nokia phones, will keep the Podcast up to date.

When I did the hard reset and restored from my backup the problem came right back. The only way to get to to work for me was to do a hard reset and restore everything but the phone files and the phone settings.
I usually have the app running in the background and it checks hourly but it is only configured to use WiFi at home.
BTW, whenever I get this problem the web browser stops working as well. As soon as I try to navegate somewhere it crashes.

Same thing just happened to me. One day it was working the next it didn't. I would be interested in any fixes to this. When trying to open the App from the music menu I briefly get a blank screen before going back to the menu.
Do I need to reset to factory defaults to get this to work?
Cheers

Got it fixed:
I just installed Fring on my mobile, for some reason it fixed the problem I had with Nokia's podcasting download. An additional benefit is that Fring has made it much easier to move from one wifi to another, it seems it keeps wifi password in its memory.

I've been having the same problem. Not only did my applications refuse to run, but when I restarted the phone the disappeared from my applications list!
Not cool!!!
