Hi jiceha

Re: transfer photos from 6230i to PC

Does the 6230i have Bluetooth? Don't recall if my 6230 had it, but then I didn't have laptop with it either so I wouldn't have looked ..

Anyway .. you could move the files to the card on the phone - unfortunately on S40 I think you have to do them one at a time.

Alternatively, can you send each file via infrared? I guess you'd have to select the files then choose something like Options .. Send via infrared.

Re: transfer photos from 6230i to PC

when moving the files from MMC card, are you removing the MMC card from phone and use a MMC reader in PC to read the MMC card or do you have a cable that you connect to phone and to PC ?

If you have the cable, when you connect the cable there is a quesiton popping up in 6230i phone screen asking something like "do you allow data transfer" ?

If you answer "yes", your MMC card will be visible in Windows Explorer view as removable disk

But if you select "no", then PC Suite (if you have installed PC Suite to your PC) will load the PC Suite USB drivers to your PC and then you will have the PC Suite functionality in use. It allows you then to access the folders and files in phone memory
