i can't send a message by PC Suite

Operating System : WinXP Pro SP2.
PC Suite v 6.81
Connecting via DKU-5 cable (original cable).
When I send a message by PC Suite, I get an error message: "... can not to phone". (before sending, communication of PC and Phone is normal, e.g.: transfering a file)

what is the whole error message? i get the feeling you have chopped off a bit there

who makes the cable? there will be a sticker on the end of it some where, there should be a serial number too - can yo post that?

I'm sorry. I typed missing some words.The whole error message is:" The PC Suite can not connect to phone". The cable came with my phone, but has no serial number !!!

I have not heard before that Nokia phones with DKU-5 cables would be offered in same sales pacjage, normally you need to by this cable separately.

So what do you mean that the cable came with the phone ?

I live in Vietnam. It is really that the cable came with my phone. The package includes: phone, battery, charger, user guide and the cable. so that I called: " original cable"
