I try to connect a Nokia 6021 to my PC (Win XP SP2) using a CA-42 cable. I have installed Nokia PC Suite version 6.84.10.3.
When I start up PC Suite, my mobile phone is detected. When I start up the Synchronisation and press "Synchronise now" (I have a dutch version so I 'm not sure if it actually is 'Synchronise now'

nothing happens ...
Saw this on the FAQ list :
Q: I have an active connection between my phone and PC Suite. I press either the 'Properties' button or 'Synchronise Now' button on the PC Sync UI but nothing happens.
A: Nokia PC Sync creates configuration files for synchronisation purposes. These files might have been corrupted. To fix the problem, delete these files from C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Application Data\Nokia\PCSync\SynchData\%PHONEIMEI%. Your phone's IMEI code is located under the battery. After this, restart your computer and re-create the synchronisation settings.
The behaviour under Q is the same as mine. I don 't see the folder structure \Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Application Data\Nokia\PCSync\SynchData\of A, it does not exist !
For the record : my Documents and Settings are on a D partition, not C ; I have installed Nokia PC Suite on this D partition as well.
Any idea ?
Thanks,
Hans.
