How do you get the phone to connect and load the phone numbers from the mac ?

GBridger,
Are you using the iSync program included with your Mac? If yes, then the following will apply to getting the downloaded plugin to make iSync work with your 2720 and copy the Contacts out of Address Book for you.
1. In "Finder" go to your hard drive.
2. Open up "Applications"
3. Scroll down to "iSync.app"
4. Right click on "iSync.app" and then select "Show Package Contents"
5. Open up - /Contents/PlugIns/ApplePhoneConduit.syncdevice/Con
6. When you open up the "Plugins" folder you will see a whole bunch of phones listed. Drop the unzipped file in here.
7. Close the "Finder" window and start up iSync
8. Add your 2720 to iSync > Devices > Add device (make sure Bluetooth is on for both the Mac and the 2720).
Everything else will be however you set up iSync. This thread has all of the answers you can possibly ask, if not, post again. I will try to help, though I have recently moved over to an iPhone 3GS and my Nokia knowledge is getting rusty now.

HI, thank you for your plug-in! I've just downloaded it, put it in the correct folder, restart my computer, but still don't work. Isync tell me that's not a supported device? What do you think can be wrong? Thank you. (Nokia 2720 - MacBook Pro MB990 OS 10.6.4)

uZoK - GREAT work. I just spent 60 minutes with my cell company and Nokia on the phone and they said I could not connect the 2720Fold with my iMac because the phone had v: 2.0 Bluetooth and the iMac had v:2.3.3. Well you proved them wrong. Contacts, To Do list, Calendar all sync'd without a problem. THANX - Andrew in the USA

I had the same problem. It took me a while to figure out, you have to accept the connection on the phone. then it shows up as a supported device.
Good Luck

Hi there!!!
I´m getting crazy trying to download the isync because it seems that all the links in internet are out of service. It happens the same with the megoupload link you set up.
Could you send me the isync + the wonderful plug-in you created.
MY THANKS IN ADVANCE.

CarlosRodLop,
I wish I was the one who created the plug in but I am not. I just tested the download link posted at the beginning of this thread and it is still working (tested Opera, FireFox and Safari) .You may have better luck doing a cut'n'paste.

Make sure you read through my posts on what you need to pay attention to in order to make this work properly.
Hate to say it, yet I must admit that I finally got an iPhone after using Nokia handsets and smart devices since 1997, as well as the first real smartphone the Nokia 9000.

Great! Thanks for creating and sharing this plugin, it works!!!!
I have a question: has any of you found a way to backup the messages (SMS and multimedia) to a mac?? It seems that the PC suite does that, but theres no way to do it on a mac.
Please let me know. thanks!!!!!!!
