I am trying to sync my 5800 XM with my windows live calendar. I have not found a way to do this directly. Apparently there is no syncing options with windows live for the 5800.
I have been trying an indirect way to sync, by having my Windows Vista Calendar subscribe to my Live Calendar. The link between the two calendars works fine, with my live calendar showing up in the list of viewable calendars.
IE. There are two of them. You chose which one to view by clicking the checkbox. Both are checked.
When I try to sync with PC suite to Windows Vista Calendar, the Live Calendar (the one I subscribe to) doesn't show in the list of calendars in the Nokia PC Sync Settings/Windows Vista Calendar selection. Other calendar's do, just not the subscribed one.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Telling me to use Google calendar with goosync or OVI Suite is not helpful. Thank you in advance.
I am using ...
PC Suite 7.1.30.9
Windows Vista Home Premium SP2
Nokia 5800 XM firmware V 21.2.025 (US)

I am running windows vista business with windows calendar (not live calander) on my PC. There is a lot of talk of synchronisation problems. Before I spend my hard earned cash on a Nokia E71 or a Nokia 5800, I would be grateful if someone could tell me definitively whether it is possible to synchronise my to windows calendar reliably to these devices. Many thanks in advance.

Hi robbies,
You can check the PIMs supported by Nokia PC Suite in my above post in this same thread. I am damn sure that Windows Calendar is in supported PIM list.
Also, for sync you can have a look here ![]()
