Hi,
Since a while i get synch error with Outlook calendar.
Deleting all calendar entries on phone and resend from Outlook helps for a while, but than error comes again.
With some workaround I discovered that there is a corrupt reoccuring calendar entry on the E66. This entry cannot be opened or deleted.
This corrupt reoccuring entry is not visible in PC Suite Communication Centre's calendar view, nor in Outlook calendar, only on phone. It's completely 'frozen', no sending / editing / deleting can be done. Otherwise all other calendar entries work OK.
Phone Nokia E66 - latest firmware
Win XP - with latest updates
PC Suite latest version
Any idea how to get rid of corrupt reoccuring calendar entry?
Thanks.

Hi,
How you found there was a corrupted calendar entry( you have mentioned as with some workaround, what was the workaround ?
) ?
If you can pinpoint there was a corrupted calendar entry, does it has got any attachment along with that calendar entry?
Can you do the backup of your calendar entries alone and install noki application, to check if that particular calendar entry has got backup-ed using Content copier too?

Hi,
This way I found the corrupt reoccuring entry:
Don't know if there was attachment - cannot open it, but I do not think so.
Following your suggestion opened backup file with Noki, but most entries are not backed up - out of 328 identified entires only 30 are appearing in Noki list. Could happen that corrupt entry blocks the proper backup as well.
Thanks a lot.

Cricfancy, please help me.
I have 1 corrupt calendar entry in my phone. I cannot delete or edit this event.
As a result when I try and sync my phone using PC Suite it gives an error.
I have tried to change the range of the calendar but it always tries to sync the whole calendar which means it scans the corrupt entry and gives an error.
Any advise as to how i can get rid of this 1 corrupt entry or a way of syncing my calendar so it correctly follows the range i want it to follow?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Daniel

Hi,
Can you check if any of the thing mentioned in the following post may be the root cause for your issue?

Hi,
My case was solved finally by phone reset - I could not find out why the calendar was corrupted. Using content copier and restoring data after reset all went fine - all settings & data was like before. Corrupt calendar entry disappeared.
Cheers
