I had Microsoft Microsoft Outlook and Nokia PC Suite in Sync.

But I've changed my Laptop and now I have Windows Live Mail and Outlook
Express

I'm using only the Windows Live Mail, that has a calendar also.

When I install Nokia PC Suite, it says that it syncs with Outlook
Express and Outlook.
 

 - Does Nokia PC Suite sync with Windows Live Mail at all?

Hi, unfortunately Microsoft doesn't have any API available for Windows Live Mail PC application. Currently that makes it impossible for us to support sync with Windows Live Mail.

At least, this is clear. There's no way to sync a Nokia phone to Win7 Live Mail and as it seems the ball is in Microsoft's hands.

I hope Nokia will make an upgrade of PC Suite ASAP.

I can only agree, solutions are available, a plan or roadmap isn't. Please respond. Alternatives are also welcome (full windows live on your nokia).

I totally agree. This is a very frustrating problem. I can't believe it is this difficult to do something as basic as syncing calendar entries. It's a really important and useful feature that's missing.

Apparently Nokia is not listening to their customers and instead diverts them to a damn Nielsen forum to write down all their frustration and needs again and again.

Why is it so complicated to provide an easy syncing tool between Windows Live Mail calendar and the N8 and C7 or E52 phones i.e. their built-in calendars (e.g..). Yes Nokia, I have bought all three phones within a time span of 5 months and have NOW FINALLY DECIDED to end my Nokia-sympathy due to lack of listening support. It comes as a joke that the internet is full of grief towards this standard problem and that none seems capable to do something. Apparently none wants to do anything as the whole situation looks like a "friendly agreement" between Nokia and Microsoft. They call it Marketing, I call it short-term-wannabe-software- regulation-policy as an aim to support, e.g. Outlook!!!

Goodbye Nokia. I'll turn to Apple! Please excuse my frustration

I am also very frustraded that OVI Suite doesn't support Windows Live Mail.

I had the same problem going from Microsoft Outlook to Windows Live Mail. No way of converting/moving messages and contacts from one Microsoft app to another.

It seems like Microsoft is protecting their own format and tries to build a wall around it.

Nokia and Microsoft: YOU HAVE TO SOLVE THIS FAST.It has been a warm discussion subject for almost 2 years. Otherwise I will also not buy a Nokia phone when I change it next time.

It's sad, these are the little things that make me sad. I have begun my Nokia adventure with the 5110. And followed my travels using the 3210, 3310i, 6110, n70, n73, n95, e50, e51, n82, n97 and now an e5. The last Nokia will be an e5. I'm turning to the other side and I'm not sure if it's any darker over there...

Make sure in the settings to chose what you are synchronising. Most of you might do with the calendar only, whereas others will include all "syncing" options.

I've checked with my C7, 701, N8 and E52

Simple easy solution I found was.....

Using Ovi or PC Suite.... Sync your contacts

Open Windows live mail

Go to contacts

click on import

and import from current windows user

Worked for me, and did it in 1min....
