Putting music into folders used for nokia multimedia transfer for Mac

Hi.
I've just bought a N73, and have attached to my Mac via Bluetooth.
I then installed Nokia Multimedia Transfer so that I could put my pics and music onto my new phone.
The Nokia Multimedia Transfer application put a folder in itunes, and another in iphoto.
My problem is that it won't let me drag and drop anything into either of these folders.
It doesn't matter whether I am trying to move things from within the applications themselves, copies I have made onto the desktop. Nothing will go into the folders.
I've no idea what has gone wrong and would appreciate any help or suggestions anyone can give me.
Thanks.
Rose

there's nothing special about these folders (barring that NMT will look for them when it runs) - they are created and used exactly the same way as any other 'folders' in these apps.

This means, however, that you can only put Playlists (iTunes) and Albums (iPhoto) in them - you can't place Songs or Photos directly in the folders. These 'folders' aren't really folders at all, just a poorly copied analogy from the operating system.

if you still can't get anything in these folders, try putting items in other folders (ie: create a new folder in the app and see if it works for you). if one works, they both should work. if they both fail, sadly, the problem is not with NMT but rather something more global with your system.

good luck,
-bit

PS:
if you haven't yet DON'T UPGRADE THE N73 FIRMWARE! there are serious issue with the latest N73 firmware and MacOSX 10.5. If you are running 10.4, any firmware will work - if you are running 10.5 the latest 2 firmware revisions seem to fail... more details are available elsewhere in these forums.

N95-1 ---> N97-NAM ---> N900 ---> E7-00 + N900 (I use them both)
(N95 was pretty good, N97 had potential but utterly failed to deliver, N900 is absurdly good. Those of you wondering, "should I try N900/Maemo/MeeGo"? The answer is a resounding YES)

Hi
It works fine when I put things in files first.
Sorry if I was being a bit dim.
Thanks for your help.
