I can't seem to connect my 6070 to my PC. The infrared port on my PC recognizes the phone because it gives the modelnumber, but pc suite doesn't. Shortly after, I get the message that PC suite isn't supporting 6070. Can anyone help my with this problem. THX

suite version and have you checked from nokia web site that your phone is officially supported by Suite?

I 've tried PC version 683 en 684, and none of both work. Yes the phone model is supported by Suite.
A thing is, my phone is a version with software for Mobistar. Could there be a reason that Suite doens 't work?

When connecting via infrared, the preferable distance between the two devices is one metre (about three feet) at most.

If your PC cannot detect the phone, check that the PC's infrared port is activated. To find more troubleshooting information on Nokia PC Suite, you can browse the FAQ search database on the PC Suite web pages. To do this, go to the Nokia PC Suite main window and click Web > PC Suite on the web > PC Suite FAQ. Note that this requires an Internet connection.
