I am using PC Suite 6.81.13.0 and a Nokia 6680 since 6 monthy and everything works fine.

Now I bought a Nokia E61 (2.0618.06.05 14-7-06 RM-89) that i am using in parallel to work on my e-mails (with Goodlink SW).

PC Suite connects to the E61 and I can transfer files, sounds, music etc.

The problem is with PC Sync. When I select the phone it finds the E61 but when I click on "Settings" or "Synchronize" nothing happens. I mean really nothing... no error message, nothing.

But the same application works fine with the 6680. and I obviously turn off the 6680 when trying to sync with the E61. Tried over bluetooth and cable, same effect. Tried to de-install and re-install PC-Suite several times, same effect. MAke a hard reset of the E61, same effect.

Does anybody have an idea?

Delete sync files from below folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Nokia\PCSync\SynchData\your phone IMEI


(if you use several phones with PC Suite, make sure you delete e61 IMEI nr folder data, not the other phone(s)

And connect now the e61 to PC Suite - Synchronise. Any help ?

I have an E62 and it did not help. I've deleted it and still cannot sync. Any Idea?
