PC Suite importing contact from Excel file

PC Suite 7.0.7.0 + Communication Centre 1.0 (French)
Win XP
Office 2003

I try to import contacts from an excel file, based on the export .cvs file from the Nokia Communication Centre. So, I'm sure the layout is exactly wath's needed.

But the result is "contacts can not be imported. Verify file format" (free translationb from french).
I try with .csv with ";" between the informaion, with another .csv with ",". I try also with .txt in the 2 forms "," and ";" and even with " "...

To test, I have exported the existing contact. Noi problem to open with Excel. But if I try to re-import this file (so, coming from Nokia Communication Centre's exporting system), I receive "Fail to write the contact"...

Does anyone know how to convert the Excel file so it will be importable by NCC ?

Thx

You can try to import the .csv into Outlook then sync with the phone.

Good idea but... I don't want to sync with Outlook, too much contact in O (+1000) and just need the 108 contact of my phone. Should be easier than that, reading the NCC help.
