Ovi Player installation failure - help please

This is my 27861290786th attempt at installing Ovi Player onto my PC since early last year when I purchased my 5800XM. Although I managed to install it on a separate laptop, I would really love to have all my music files on my PC.

 

But each time I try to install it, installation fails or it tells me that an error has occurred.

I tried deleting mdataStore.db3 but it tells me another program/user is using it even though I closed the application.

 

Although a Nokia employee, Alles, has attempted to provide a solution last year, they were to no avail. /t5/Nokia-Ovi-Suite/trouble-installing-ovi-music-player/m-p/658620

 

This is the error information I receive:

I also get an 'Error 1722' message.
