I've installed PC Suite on my XP prof PC with all SP and Updates then I connect my 6100 via CA-42 USB Cabel.
It is not possible to synchronize the 6100 with PC Suite because my PC cann't find the USB to UART Driver.
How can I solve the problem?

Or you can try googling "USB to UART Driver" and follow the links for help. Maybe you have a non-original cable and the cable might require a driver that is not the Nokia driver but a driver that was provided by the cable vendor.

a walk around is to try 6100's irda connection.

Orno, thanks for the hint but,as you suspected, it won't work on Vista (it supports the DKU-5 cable and not the CA-42). My hope is fainting...

Thanks for the hint as well, but I bought a 100% genuine Nokia CA-42 cable, and I'd still like not to have lost my money... although I'm starting to doubt: I consider trading it for a compatible cable that will come with the proper driver!

You have to supposedly read some adverts but just select that option, free option, and then skip the adds
