It just keeps searching and when I find it on my onboard bluetooth it still does not connect to NMT.
I don't want to transfer through bluetooth either! Imagine transferring 7gb of music through bluetooth, shoot me.
Please update the program or tell me how to fix this. I did send a msg through the NMT report vibe but nothing has happened nor did i get a response.

Hi pauljbrag,
We recommended that you try transfer multimedia files through a micro USB cable which will connect to your version of Mac OSX 10.6.8. The C7 itself should allow you to select Mass Storage, which will allow you to drag and drop multimedia files onto your phone.
Additional information
If you are looking to sync with your macbook, it will not work due to Apple taking out iSync from their latest OSX Lion. Although you could alternatively create a virtual box and bootcamp, which allows you to run windows through your macbook. More information provided in this link

Thank you for getting back to me haZey. No offense but it kinda sucks that I have to go about transferring my music this way. I like to use my phone as an "iPod" and keep it updated with all my current playlists in iTunes. I had the Nokia 5800 XME and the transfer app (1.3 i think?) was amazing, letting you choose which playlists you wanted to add. The I upgraded to the C7 and I had to update the app to 1.4.2 which was silly cause I now had to duplicate the playlists i wanted in my iTunes for the app to copy them across to the C7.
I've always been a big fan of the Nokia group right from my 1st phone, the Nokia 3510! ha ha. Do you think your programmers will update the NMT app so that transferring isn't such a hack and inconvenience? I would never convert to Blackberry, I effing hate them, and the other companies are wasting their time (LG, Samsung etc..) but the iPhone is looking very convenient. It's not a threat at all, I love my C7, a lot. I just want it to be less of a mission for me to transfer my nonsense.

Hmm... Solved? I just got a C7 and am having exactly this problem. I followed the advice given to pauljbrag and my Mac responds with "The Nokia device “C7-00” is currently connected in a USB mode not supported by Nokia Multimedia Transfer or iSync." Any further advice?

Well, it's "solved": Use the Mass Storage mode, and you can copy files to your phone. This means just a pure copy, nothing more, you cannot synchronise your stuff anymore.
You cannot:
- sync or upload your music/videos from your iTunes
- upload Photos from/to your iPhoto,
- upload maps through your computer.
I have the same problem via my N8...
But - if you check the doanload section for N9, you will find a new software, called "Nokia Link" which supports OSX Lion. This software is only for N9, but not S60/S^3 devices.
This means:
- OSX Lion connection and synchronisation can be solved without iSync
- The problem is not related to the OSX, but the Nokia software only
- S60/S^3 users are out of scope...
It is very sad, I did expect more from Nokia.
