I have just upgraded my N73 for an N95 8GB, I have also upgraded the PC Suite to the new N series PC suite. The problem I have is that I can't work out how to send SMS messages via my PC - the PC Suite help tells me it is loaded automatically but I can't seem to find the icon in the software. This is a feature I used all the time with my N73 and the previous (standard version of PC Suite) and will be gutted if it is not available for the N95 8GB. I have tried to load the separate Nokia Multi Media manager but this does not seem to be compatible with the N Series PC Suite. Can anybody help me get this feature - Many Thanks

i know how annoying this is, for me, the n series suite isn't as good as the standard version. i found if you go through the phone browser, you eventually get the the messaging part as before, but its a really long winded way of doing it, and i couldn't work out how to create a short cut to it either!

Thanks - after about an hour I came to same conclusion. I have reloaded the standard PC suite, the N Series PC Suite seems more like 'work in progress' and I can't see any significant feature it has over the Standard.

How do you get the Phone Browser to be able to send SMS

YOu have to make sure you have the standard Nokia Pc Suite 6.85.14.1 installed, then open PC Suite (of course connect phone also to PC) - click on the envelope icon in PC Suit main view (NOkia PHone Browser opens and should open to your phone view and to messages subfolder i your phone.

Then on the picture panel in the middle of the Windows Explorer/Nokia Phone Browser view (assuming you have widows explorer settings so that you have selected "view folders" view, in the picture panel in the middle there is an envelope butoon, click on it to send an sms.
