My nokia N73 doesnt connect to PC

hi there i have a nokia N73 not a music edition and i have bought a USB data cable CA-72 and when i tried to connect it to my vista OP its not being detected by my nokia PC suite which i have downloaded (Nokia_PC_Suite_rel_6_86_9_3_eng_web)
from the nokia web site and the cable is being detected by the phone and its displaying USB cable connected but my PC is not detecting it please help

The cable compatible with N73 is CA-53! The CA-72 that you've got most likely not from Nokia, although the phone sense it but the PCsuite does not acknowledge it. And to top it Vista have some issues regarding connectivity.

Try to get the recommended cable(CA-53) & check!
