Using PC Suite 7.0.9.2 with PC Synch for Synchronising calendar and contacts on E71 worked fine on first installation.
But now that I synchronize to update, all further attempts to synchronize fail. Nothing is transfered to the phone, no matter what option I choose (PC to phone only, or vice-versa).
PC Sync seems working, and message even says it is accessing notes data base, sometimes you can even see the counting of data sentences running; but in the end, message says zero changes had been made, and this is actually the case when I check the phone.
No information is given what might be the problem.

I saw the post and discussion thread here of ricardo on PC synch problem with Lotus Notes 8, but this advice was not clear for me, for Notes 7. What I tried (typing in notes password several times and ways) did not work.

(And by the way, I had the same problem with an earlier model of nokia smartphone.)
Does anybody know the "trick" ? Or is there a Synch software that works fine with Lotus Notes 7.0.3., and which one?

-Is the mail configured in a local profile for in a server.
-What type of email account is lotus notes 7.0 configured.
-If you could provide me the screenshot of the settings for PC sync.

Suddenly Synchronization works - and I do not know what I did change to make this happen. Sorry for bothering the forum.

After I had my former notebook migrated to a new one, I am back to a problem I had before.

After probing around a little bit I found: Sync of notes calendar works for the minimum interval 1 week in the past, 1 month in the future. But as soon as I change either one to more, no data gets transfered to the phone. The report says: A problem occured, therefore sync was aborted.

- What is wrong with my calendar data in the notes file?
- How can I find this and fix it? (I use my calendar extensively, e.g. I paste text-notes and sometimes images (maps) into a calender document)

My Mail and contacts (address book names.nsf) are on Lotus Notes 7.0.3. Nokia PC Suite is 7.1.18.0.

When I sync with the server notes mailfile, I see a counter on the phone screen that gets stuck at a certain number (in my case 80 out of thousandsomething). How can I find out with this information, which entry in my notes calendar creates the problem and aborts sync? Is the number on the phone screen when the counter stops useful?

I am having the same issue with syncing to Notes 7.0.  It seems to get hung up sending 40 out of 2xx, and I've tried changing all my settings.  Were you able to resolve this?

Hi,

Since you are saying its hanging up after sending 40 out of 2xx, Can you see the Nokia pc suite's sync icon on your system tray?  right click on it and exit from there.  Switch off your phone, Switch on...If your phone supports to create new sync settings while connected with pc suite, create it and then try to sync your device with PC Suite.
