Error in contact name after saving edited Phone Browser contact

Nokia 6086 v 15.04, PC Suite 6.84.10.4, WinXp Pro SP2 with all updates

I have repaired PCS using Add/Remove Programs, and reinstalled the phone update.

PROBLEM: After modifying a contact in PCS-Phone Browser and saving, a letter is dropped from the first name of the contact. For example, "Sarah" becomes "Srah", or sometimes "arah". This is a repeatable problem.

Afterwards, if I re-edit that contact in Phone Browser, the problem will reoccur.

WORK-AROUND: The only work-around I have discovered is to re-edit the name in the phone itself.

Any ideas? This an annoying problem.
