E72 - problems with Contacts in PC Suite

Hi,

 

I'm having problems when I try to do a backup, or when I try to view contacts using PC Suite (7.1.40.1). I'm using E72. I have updated all of my contacts in the phone. I want to back them up and then sync them with Outlook, so that my phone contacts are exactly the same in Outlook.

 

When I view contacts in the PC Suite Communication Centre, I am only seeing the numbers. No names are displayed. The loading % below the phone icon does not move and eventually I get a failed to load/try refresh message. Also, when I attempt a backup it does not complete the process.

 

When I updated my contacts in the phone I had to move a lot of the details around as the initial sync from Outlook left the full name (first & last) in the first name column, for example. I also added some detail, like suffix, mobile(business) etc.

 

Is this a common problem? Do you have any suggestions? I prefer to avoid using Ovi Suite until such time as it is adjudged to be at least on a par with PC Suite.
