[E71x] PC Sync has encountered a problem and has terminated the synchronization

What version of Windows is being used? XP Prof
What Service Pack is installed? SP2
What version of PC Suite is installed? 7.1.40.1
What is the connection method, cable, bluetooth or IR? cable, bluetooth

Phone software version:  3.28 (latest).



When trying to sync via PC Suite, I get the following error:

 

"PC Sync has encountered a problem and has terminated the synchronization."

 

I am only trying to sync the sent messages folder with Outlook, so that the emails I sent from my phone find their way into my Outlook's "Sent" folder on my PC.

 

I have searched, tried the factory reset (7370), tried deleting the PCSync data off the PC, tried running PC Suite Cleaner and reinstalling PC Suite, still the same problem.

 

I also tried Nokia Ovi Suite, but apparently this suite does not sync emails with Outlook.

 

Any other suggestions?  This is very frustrating.
