Hello All,
Can some please point me in the right direction. I wish to copy the contact names/numbers from the PC Suite contact lists that get generated when I sync up to a spreadsheet such as excel. I want to use a seperate database for storing my contacts aswell as using the PC suite. If i just do a copy all from the nokia phone browser (showing the names/numbers) if says copy protection.
So, how can i use this information outside of pc suite package.

A very simple way od storing your contacts separately is to sync it with Microsoft Outlook. You can also sync certain Nokia models so they always contain the same data.

Thanks, but how do you do that?, NOKIA N95 is only syncing to PC Suite, or am i missing something.

I am not sure which version of PCsuite you are running but if you are using the latest V6.86 then the icon for syncing is the top row middle icon.

First connect your phone to pcsuite as per normal and then click the sync function. I presume you have MS Outlook/express on your pc.

Will lotus notes work as this is the email tool i have. I do not have MS outlook/express. What other S/W will work.

Just to ADD when i try and use the sycn button. I get the following error

Microsoft Outlook

PC Sync was unable to access a valid Outlook profile. Please run Outlook and configure your user profile.

Possible Solution

Please ensure PC Sync has been properly configured to synchronise with your Outlook profile, and re-select your required folders.

I have lotus notes, so how to i use this?

I think you are getting that error because Outlook isn't loaded on your pc. I know the sync function also works with lotus notes but unfortunately I have no experience setting it up with lotus, not having done it before.

I am sure there are others here who have.
