Address country truncated?

I sync from Outlook -> Nokia 6300 -> Second copy of Outlook

I've just noticed that the country name is getting truncated during the first sync so...

"United States of America" becomes "United States of Ame"

Anyone else seen this or able to suggest what I did wrong or how I can fix this?

Thanks,

Papadeltasierra

Re: Address country truncated?

Hi,

I am afraid this could be a phone dependent issue, but i have not checked this issue as of now.

Every One knows about Alexander Graham Bell who inventd the telephone, but he never made a call to his family. Bcoz, they r deaf. Live for Others.

Re: Address country truncated?

Umm, you may be right.  I tried to edit the Contacts entry from

"United States of Amer" to complete it to "United States of America" but the 6300 would not allow me to add the extra characters.

Since PC Suite is supposed to sync with Outlook (I'm using Outlook 2007) I would rank this as a combined "PC Suite/6300" bug.  Either the 6300 needs to be fixed to permit more characters or PC Suite needs to map "United States of America" to/from USA when synching with Outlook 2007.

Either would do.  BTW, don't suggest OVI2 as it currently won't sync. one-way, a feature I use.

Regards,

Papadeltasierra.
