windows mobile powered nokia phones. Should go...

Hello people!

Am really concerned about nokia's future success. We see that in new days more and more people is 'pushed' to some new experiences than a smartphone can deliver. I always had nokia phones and i think i am getting a little bored...and am really sorry for it. I don't want to lose the quality and trust that nokia has. It is by far the best mobile manufacturer.

But it wil be a great idea to start a collaboration with microsoft and release some Windows mobile powered phones. It will be the perfect match...best quality with best OS in the market (in my opinion for these days). That will surely bring all the mobile fans close to nokia.

I don't know where to sent my opinion and i thought it will be a good idea to post it here. I hope it will be concerned and in 2010 buy my first nokia windows mobile phone...!

           cheers

Windows mobile the best OS?? It's probably the worst!!  It's only made tolerable by the shells that manufacturers like HTC wrap around it.

Switching to windows mobile would be a nail in the coffin for nokia, especially in Europe.

Now if you'd have mentioned some more interesting operating systems like maemo or android then I may have taken your post more seriously.

I'd definitely not choose Nokia if it had Windows on it. Fully agree to psychomania's post.

Re: windows mobile powered nokia phones. Should go...

I personally know many nokia-symbian users that by turning in windows OS, made them change their entire aspect of phones. They now believe that windows mobile is by far better and will never buy a symbian one again ...and that make me confused...like you too now.

Of course i also know that nokia is your 'life' and you will support it by any mean. I am doing it too...but i am thoughtful. My suggestion was to release some, and again, SOME windows powered nokia phones and not make a full turn to it. So to keep both European and foreign users. And yes if it is android... even better.

Thanks for reading. Keep up the good work.

I have been using Windows Mobile devices since 1997 and Nokia phones since 1995. Windows mobile once you get used to it is great and simple to use. And if you are running windows on your computer there is only a small learning curve. It took me a long time to learn the Symbian O/S which is not easy for newbie's. If Nokia did make a win mo phone I would give it my consideration. Most people who criticize win mo do so because they have not persevered with it. Once mastered it is great imho
