"Headset" option does not show in Menu>Settings>Enhancements of Nokia 6288 when the Headset is plugged to the pop-port, although CA-53 cable works fine for PC Suite.
Only the "Charger" option shows in Enhancements.
"Headset" and other options remain missing, hence I cannot play the Radio, or listen over the HeadSet or any hands-free, bcx I keep getting "Connect an enhancement".

Any suggestions?

I don't think its an S60 series phone where you can reset or format it by codes. Check if there is an upgrade of firmware in Nokia site, or re install the firmware(new version allows it now) by Nokia Software Updater(NSU) putting it back to factory settings.

I actual did a firmware upgrade on the Nokia 6288 from v6.10 to v6.43 yes'day (27May2008), followed by "Restore to Factory settings", yet the Headset option is missing.

I have a same problem with 2700. Previously it was workin fine. I also tried restore and firmware upgrade. Bt still no success.
