Hi there!
Bought a Nokia 6300 2 months ago. Once I realized it got a pixel error (2 dead pixels) I gave it back n got a new one. Back then I have been living in Europe, but now I moved all the way to Australia and say what - my nokia is causing me headaches again. I wanted to access my messages this mornin when the display suddenly froze. When nothing happened, I switched it off and on, re-entered my pin and what I got was a blank white screen, with only my battery status, connection and clock visible on the top of the screen. It doesn't respond to any keys I press, but it still seems to work somehow, as I'm hearing the sound of a reminder I set earlier every time I switch it on. I don't own a computer, so I went to the internet cafe and installed the Nokia Suite. But I got to reboot for the drivers being properly installed. Without the drivers my mobile is not being recognized neither through cable nor serial. What can I do? I know its 100% software-based this issue, my SIM card is still working fine, tried that out on a friend's mobile.
Whats the deal with my warranty, can I get a replacement here in Sydney? Is there a key combination which I can press to reset my phone? Please respond quickly. I depend on my mobile very much and its in my interest to get it back working a-s-a-p. Thanks.
