i have a nokia 6230i. 1 month old bought on 02 pay as you go. but have been using my contract 02 sim in it. now i have decided to use the pay as you go sim because bills are to high. put the pay and go sim in the phone and its coming up security code. iv tried the default number 12345 but it wont unlock. the security code has not been changed.
it works with any other sim card in it apart from the one it came wiv. can you help?

You have to wait 15 minutes if you have tried three times before you entered 12345. It locks.

had to take the phone to anglian telecom in ipswich. to have the phone reset as nothing could be done with it. nokia think it happened between the time the phone was made to me receiving the phone but it been fixed now. cheers!!!!

i hav put a sucurity code on my keypad lock but my little sister has tried some rong codes on it n now my security code to unlock the keypad isnt workin!!!! can u help me?

you may have to send it to anglian telecom in ipswich. have you tried the default code 1234?
