ive had my trusty nokia6230 for ages, and it has never been anything but "fab", its perfect for me and what i need from a phone. i am on o2payasyougo, have been for about a year or more, and i can honestly say "ive never had a moments trouble with my phone or o2. about a month ago i was texting my daughter, when i pressed "send", the phone did what it always did ie, displaying "sending message", but all of a sudden it displayed "message not sent, please try later". i have been unable to send any text messages since that day, though i can recieve them. ive gone through the phones menu to see if i could solve the problem, but no...........please someone help me, i cannot afford another phone as yet or all the call costs ive had to pay due to not being able to text. thanks for taking the time and trouble to see if you can help me. all the best for 2008

Ok, now we have something to work with.
If you go into the text message settings and look for your message centre number.

On o2 pre pay it should be set to +447802092035

Is it set to that?
If not change it and that should do the job.

I have the same problem as the person above except when I try to send texts it comes up with the message "number not in use". I have tried going into the text message settings menu looking for the number you mentioned but can't find any screen with that number on. I am an O2 customer as well. Can you help?
