Re: my nokia 5800 xm fault?

Well obviously your phone is not right, because my phone and my friends' phones (all same model as you) do not do that. There's a few things you can try, but remember to ALWAYS back up your phone data first using the memory backup tool on your phone (Menu > Apps > File Manager > Backup. this can take awhile if you have a lot of things. I would also (as a backup plan to the backup) use Nokia PC Suite and backup on your pc as well.

After that, you can try the steps below:

1. Restore original phone settings: It will be under phone settings or type *#7780# in your phone's standby mode. No data will be lost, but you will reset all your phone's settings back to the default.

2. Hard reset: AKA the 3 finger reset. With the phone off and pressing the following buttons at the same time -- green "call" key, red "end call" key and camera button.

3. If that still doesn't change anything, try checking for a software update using Nokia Software Updater. :smileyhappy:

"Try not. Do or do not, there is no try."
