Hello,

        I was trying to clear my home screen because the time displaying on it its sooo big and date as well. i like it clear but i couldnot find any option to hide the time and clock from display..

another question...

is there any option to show the time in call that how long this call has been...

becuase sometimes we need to know how long your call is going on so you can disconnect or may continue talking but there is no option in this phone...

What phone are you using with which firmware version?

It is possible to hide the clock on a lot of phones, I think the same applies to the date aswell.

While you're on a call your phone actually functions as if it's unlocked so you can go through your menu to your log then call duration and you will see the timer counting while you're on the phone

yes why not  just go to date and time setttings and choos e not to show date in homescreen

my phone is nokia 2730 classic

and there is no option to hide clock and time from home screen

you have a basic, make phone calls, a couple of sms and off you go, type of phone.

if you cannot go see that there is an option in its small menu sources, then it most likely is not an option on that handset.

but how **bleep** there is no option like that even in very basic handsets of nokia there is option to hide the clock or time from home screen n apart from its not a basic phone it has camera and micro sd memory card options as well i dont consider it as a basic phone but i am wondering why and how nokia creative team forgot to add this option into handset if nokia team hear my voice kindly tell me it is my handset fault or it was made like that.

Somehow I don't believe that, my old 3410 had an option to hide the clock. Check again under your time and date settings. You could even have an option to change the block from analogue to digital.
Check your display setting too, just in case

Hello,

Based on ur questions, i suggest you check the following things:

1> To hide date and time in standby mode: Menu > Settings > Date and Time > Date and Time format > Date > Date on standby scr. > Hide date

2> Call duration shown: basicly, your phone only supports "Summary after call" to show the call duration. However, I will show you one tip and i hope it works on ur phone: during the call > press Menu > select Log > select Call Duration > you will see Active Call Duration (that's the call you are talking)

This is a series 40 phone, but I cant find the setting to show calendar as my old phone did.

Anyone know what Im talking about??

Hi I have 2730 classic. I have a problem. After sometime it screens shows nothing on it. Means i need that it should show atleast clock alongwith date on its scree. Either i should have to do something in its settings or there is not anything like it? Kindly answer me asap.

Recently i bought 2730 and same problem for display. Couldn't remove date & time from screen. no option available to hide date & time under settings > date & Time > ....... pls advice. thanks.
