I have a 6300.Is there any way i can block a particular number from calling

You can't block it on your phone.

You can contact your network operator and ask them to place a block on the number but not all operators will do this.

The smartphones have 3rd party softwares to block specific caller and SMS, not sure much about series 40 or your phone.
Even SE and Moto have this nice option on thier phones.
What I am tryin to say the series 40/60 or nokia phones do not have this function inbuilt. I guess the call barring, and call divert are available.
BTW: did you search by google?
