hi to all, hope i'm posting in the right area,i really need your help with this, anyhow as above really, is there any way i can restore deleted text sms on my 3310, is there a data cable available? phone to usb? and would this allow me to restore the deleted messages to my pc?, or is there any other way to retreive them? regards d.

Last option,bring your phone to a Nokia center and ask them if they can recover the SMS for you.

thanks for that nj15,i'll try that route as i must retreive them if at all possible, (they were only deleted as a last resort, to allow space for further messages, s'pose i should have forwarded them to another phone) anyhow, time to buy a "modern" phone with more capacity to store them methinks

That's a good idea.For a new "Modern" Phone,you can choose between Series 40 and Series 60(Smartphones).

If you had made a backup of your phone memory, then you can restore the backup and get the sms back. That is, the texts that were in your mobile before you made the backup. Otherwise, I'm sorry to say, you cannto get them back.

On a lighter vein, i would ask you to take your phone to the NSA and tell them that there is a deadly patch of code that can cripple the entire military network of almost every other nation in the world. They may be able to recover it...

Sorry, mate. Once lost, you cannot recover data stored in the phone memory. And I'm not getting any other ideas
