Re: System Error on SIM Change

Probably some sort of software error. Check whether the System Error SIM works fine in other phones. Better take your phone to a Nokia Care Point.

Re: System Error on SIM Change

there are two types of sim which the phone recognises.if your sim card is old one the phone will give you this error coz the operating voltage for sim card section in phone is far less.if it is new one then it should work fine.system error itself says that it does not understand which type of card you have inserted.you can get your card changed from the operator.:smileyhappy:

Re: System Error on SIM Change

Oh yes, Navigator is correct. I had forgot the voltage thing. Ask your operator to give you a new SIM with the same number, but I don't think this would be an easy task. I think you are from India, here in Sri Lanka, such SIM changes take both time and money and will cost you a few trips to the network's head office probably too.
