Re: Regarding Dual Sim Mobile Launch

This question pops up a lot. I doubt that a dual-sim Nokia phone is a possibility in the near future. Also, you will not be getting much info on when this possibility will occur, if at all.

I suggest you read the answers given for this exact same question raised by someone else:

I'd pay particular attention to shuntfield and mccbleue's opinions on whether a dual-sim Nokia phone will be a possibility or not.

While it's not an impossible hope, the chances are very slim that this will occur any time soon.

Re: Regarding Dual Sim Mobile Launch

Exactly.

Nokia's main market is in Europe, and in Europe the overwhelming majority of phones in circulation are operator-provided. Operators provide phones that are locked to their services and they're not going to want to provide phones that could potentially allow their customers to use the services of competing networks.

Yes, it sucks for those of us who always buy SIM-free phones and who would appreciate the flexibility, but we are in a very small minority. Personally, I'd rather Nokia concentrated on getting their current range of phones right than allocating resources to a dual-SIM model that very few people would be interested in buying.
