No one is serious in Nokia to hear about the problems of consumers. I have a bizarre problem of having a brand new Nokia 1202. I have purchased a Nokia 1202 (blue) handset (CODE: 0568603; Model: 1202; type: RH-111; from Spectrum sales and marketing, Emas Building, YMCA Cross Road, Calicut – 673001 (Ph: 0495-2367457) on 06/01/2008. From the day one I am facing the below mentioned problems with the hand set.
1. Battery is getting exhausted within 24 hours of stand by mode (since I have 2 other mobiles I use the newly purchased one for receiving SMS only).
2. If I connect the hand set to BSNL (Cellone) SIM handset restarts abruptly.
3. Although I insisted only for Nokia 1202 handset, the above mentioned shop people have given me an Airtel SIM free with this set (which I don’t want to use also), the original handset box of Nokia has been wrapped outside by a an additional label with an offer of Airtel SIM.
4. On 12/01/2009, I visited the shop where I purchased the handset and they exchanged the battery and asked me to reinstall the software, after the change of battery also handset is showing all the problems stated above.
On 13/01/2009 I have got a telephonic call from Nokia Care Centre, Bangalore asking me to handover the handset to Phone World Nokia Care; Opp. KSRTC bus stand; Calicut for inspection.
Today (14/01/2009) I have visited the Phone World Nokia Care; Opp. KSRTC bus stand; Calicut (Phone-04953043133) and they asked me leave the handset and battery for inspection and are asking me to wait minimum for two to three weeks of time!
Now my issues are being having two handsets I have purchased a new for some of my emergency, from the day one of purchase I am facing the problems, kindly
1. Provide me a standby until I get my cell phone back, or
2. Get me an good working Nokia 1202, or
3. Remit my amount and take back your fraudulent hand set
Kindly bear with me, I don’t have any time and patience to visit all the service centers and your shop explaining my agony. Kindly let me know what I must next?
