One hour difference from Nokia and Outlook

When I synchronise, calendar items appear with different times in Microsoft Outlook and in my Nokia device. I have checked the FAQ and I have done what it says.
I have changed my Nokia 6110 clock by one hour for summer;
my PC was automatically also changed by one hour.
Now when I synchronise to Outlook there is one hour difference on all my appointments.

Don't change the clock, make sure the time zone is correct and always change that. Bear in mind that GMT is a constant, it isn't the same as UK time in the N hemisphere "summer".

Re: One hour difference from Nokia and Outlook

My Computer is set to GMT+10 (Melbourne Australia)and one hour was added automatically for Summer time.
My Nokia 6110 is set to GMT+10 and I added one hour for Summer time.
Both clocks tell the same time.
I make an appointmnet in Outlook for 1.30 when I synchronise my Nokia shows it 2.30.
There is a problem.

Re: One hour difference from Nokia and Outlook

Following my problem shown above I have experimented and found that during synchronisation out of seven appointments four appointments were minus one hour, one appointment was correct and one appointmnet was plus one hour.

I do not know why!

Re: One hour difference from Nokia and Outlook

I have been assisted by Nokia Care and resolved the problem. The time differential was solved by changing my GMT+10 to GMT+11. The other problem was simply software corruption which was fixed with expert advice. Thanks Nokia.

Re: One hour difference from Nokia and Outlook

That's the point I was trying to make, but since you didn't say what part of Australia you were in, I couldn't give the details. GMT +11 is currently correct for Melbourne, ten hours ahead of the UK, which is GMT +1 until this weekend.
