So i was to choose between the considered as the best 2 phones in the market atm Iphone and 5800 Xpress Music. After lot of research i said to myself "Iphone rocks but it seems like Xpress Music can do the same stuff like Iphone and its a little bit cheaper...." So i bought Xpress Music cell phone by Nokia. Second day "BOOOM" FATAL ERROR!!!  I couldnt do anything in my phone not even take pictures and videos which i really wanted to do that day!

I returned the phone back to the company i got it from, very angry ofc and told them that i wanted it by the end of the week. After 2 weeks the phone still is not in my hands. Anyway good job Nokia!  I was to choose between THE Iphone and i chose you and you disappointed me. 380 Euros! Are you kidding me????!!!!!!

Go ahead now lock this topic i dont care i will flame u at all the mobile forums anyway. 

Whatever you do people DO NOT BUY XPRESS PHONE! i warned you..

P.S. The zoom of the phone also is terrible.

The price may look steep to many of us here but, assuming your username reflects the fact that you are from the Netherlands, it is dearer in your country for some reason. Nokia Germany, for example, sells them at €310 and the warranty is Europe-wide...

If the phone broke down only on the second day you should have demanded an exchange.

Also, unless you bought the phone directly from Nokia, Nokia is not responsible for the delay incurred by your retailer. That's your retailer's fault.

Assuming that you are in the EU (as you quote your price in Euros) and that your phone is bought less than 30 days ago, you should be entitled to have it replaced by the retailer if it goes faulty in that time. If it is older than that, you have to have it repaired under the manufacturer's warranty - these terms are fairly industry standard and problems happen on ALL electronices from time to time so you have just been unlucky.

This is a user-to-user forum, if you want Nokia to respond to you then contact them directly.

PS: the zoom is a digital zoom, like on 99.9% of all other camera phones, not an optical one. The quality is standard - the picture is enlarged after being taken, it's like enlarging a JPG image in Photoshop.

Im glad that someone replied so fast. No you are wrong im not from Netherlands i am from Greece. I payed exactly 380 euros mate and the specific retailer (very famous one) does not accept exchange. Careful here, Im not blaming Nokia for the delay (sorry if i gave that feeling) i blame Nokia for the failure of  my cell phone the second day i used it!

Considering the fact that Nokia is the pioneer of the mobiles and tries to rival the Iphone, this is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!

You will tell so what? big deal? For me it is big deal cause now i could have Iphone and do my job easy and fast!

Anyway my anger now will be transferred to Alpha copy the Nokia distributor here in Greece.

I'm fairly sure that European law states that a retailers MUST accept returns within a certain period of time. In other words, your retailer, how ever famous it may be, is breaking the law by refusing to do so.

Electronics goods can be faulty at the time of sale, which is why laws such as this are in place in order to protect consumers.

Listen netherx there`s a reason the camera is`nt the best, its because its a MUSIC PHONE!

What did you expect from a 3.2, if you want a good camera then buy a proper one, other words stop whinning about it.

It is a damn fine phone, great for all of my music and the **bleep** it comes with is very good.

yeah Netherex they are right, it is a music phone. As much as I love nokia, why did u pick a music phone over the iphone, The iphone is a music phone, an internet phone, great for emails going straight to the phone, an all round easy phone to use, I think our a fool choosing the nokia express!

As much as I Love Nokia and Even have the Nokia 5310(which I adore) u should have picked the iphone!
