I know this may sound like a strange request, but if there is anyone here with a Nokia 7373 phone, i was hoping you might be able to help me.

I have one of these, but i have managed to crush my display so i can't see anything on it. So i went and bought a Nokia 6085. Problem is that ALL my phone numbers are stored on the phone and not on the sim-card. Which means that i atm have lost all my phone numbers.

BUT.... If there is someone here with this phone, then maybe you would be so kind and write down a step by step guide for what to push to transfer the numbers to the sim-card.

That means....

Press menu
go 1 left and 1 down press ok
go 3 down press ok
etc...

I know i could take it to a store and have it done there, but hopefully with this i can save some cash, AND not have to wait to get the phone numbers in 2-3 weeks

So this means that i would like to know how to go Menu - contacts - copy contacts to sim. I've checked the user guide, but it does'nt explain any button combinations to push to get it done.

If you changed the menu structure, that means if you moved Contacts from menu number 1 to 2 etc., that would be harder. But if you can remember which number your Contacts menu was, go to the Contacts menu, press 9, then 2, for copying from Phone to SIM on my 6233. I don't think that the two phone differ much, but I can't guarant you. There's a risk that you might go to a Delete menu instead of the Copy menu.

I think they differ enough. Cause from what i've gathered, you can't press 2, 4, 4, 9, etc to select the different categories in the menu. But actually needs to press up, down, left or right

You can navigate the menus using numbers pretty easily, but unlike in Sony Ericssons and some other brands, you have to press the numbers in a given relatively short time in order to be able to navigate the menus. In this case, there is no difference between 7373 and 6233. They both have the same OS version and same Feature Pack (as far as I can remember), the only difference would be in the differently arranged menu structure.

note: menu & enter = middle key
1. press end call key
2. menu > up > enter
3. down 7x> enter > enter > enter
wait sometime for transferring datas

noyp_2.... I don't care if you're a boy, girl, man or woman. But i love you right now. You solved my problem and i have now been able to transfer the phone numbers over to my new phone AND taken a backup of everything on my computer
