the 6300 has a BL-4C

Hi,
I think the last chap mis-understood your query. The batteries are different in that you can not swap them between the two handsets but the technologies used to manufacture both are the same (LI-Polymer) and as such they do not suffer from memory affect. They should easily take 500-1000 full charge-discharge cycles before you start noticing overall battery life reducing.
Remember that these handsets are now being sold with 18/24 month contracts so should be good enough to last this period without too much hassle.

Oops my mistake. The 6300 battery is Li-Ion and the 6700 is Li-Polymer. Having said that, neither suffer memory issues so no need to follow a vigorous battery regime.
