Nokia 6300. Receiving files in the memory card.

i used to use the memory card as the place to receive any data. but now after some time, i found out that it's no more sending files to the memory card but just to the phone memory and this cause big problems to me as i need most of the time to receive large files that couldn't be saved on the phone memory. Can anyone help me!!!!!
